Time Time Time
"Time waits for no candidate Staff Sergeant!" it feels like just yesterday I was yelling this at the top of my lungs at USMC OCS; when in actuality it was the summer of 2005. That was 10 years ago; my how time flies.

Evan wants to be just like Daddy, He is Mr. Monkey-see Monkey-do. He wants to help wash Madeline's Hair, help me eat, help let out Hercules, and to help with house work. He little personality is developing more and more every day; always into the sweetest, wildest, most precious little man ever! He wont eat baby food anymore and hasn't for a few months; he will now only eat "big people" food and only if he has his own fork to feed himself and not a baby fork either a full sized adult fork or hes not eating! He doesn't do bottles unless its full of power-aid and prefers to drink fro an open cup with a straw like Brenda and I do at restaurants. He is quite the little boy always moving, throwing this, yelling, climbing, and getting dirty. I cant believe he is 15 months old, seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital.
The month was great for myself and Hercules. I'm sure Hercules will love the new house with a huge back yard and a nice patio for sunbathing:) I was lucky enough to receive 2 offers for federal government jobs; one even at a pay increase from where I am now. I accepted the higher paying position and will start in April. The month was a reminder of how fast time goes by. On the 4th we all celebrated the 978th day I have known Madeline; wen we met she was 977 days old. We have officially known each longer than we haven't; it was a pretty special day for me. I love her with all of my heart and being I wish I was the from the day she was born but meeting her at her 977th day was pretty awesome too:) I'll never forget the book she was reading with Lola "Never give a pig a pancake" Lola bough her the book and I wrote her a note inside the cover so she can always remember the day we met:) I was able to build a toy box for Evan this month, it has a little Coca-Cola crate feel to it. Its build sturdy and solid; I hope he gets a ton of use out of it and maybe just maybe is able to pass it along to his kids. I wish time would slow down so we can enjoy our kids at this stage a little more and have a little more time as a young family. More time helping tie shoes, change diapers, and kiss boo boos. Such a special tie in all of our lives and I'm so glad we get to share it together my wonderful little family.
