My Loves
What a busy month, whats new? lol, we went to the Zoo, Arlington Cemetery, Bapa's birthday, pool opening, Maddie's first sleep over, Mothers day, planted trees in the back yard and spent time BBQing with friends and family.
Evan is almost crawling, what? Just yesterday he was a tiny 7lb new born. Now, at 5 months old, he's wearing 9 month old tops and tipping the scale and a lean mean 20lbs! Maybe not so lean lol, man I love his baby rolls, his chubby cheeks, first, legs and tummy. I love his laugh when we play together, I love how he looks at his sister, his mother and I. This little boy has a huge heart, I can tell already, he gives hugs, loves affection and loves being around people. I doesn't matter who; people in the grocery store, neighbors, or friends, Evan looks at them smiles giggles and melts their heart. I love that he is so healthy, so happy, so precious and such a lover. I love that he looks for me when he hears my voice, watches me no matter what I'm doing, and gives me the biggest ear to ear toothless smile. I love everything about him and always will.
Hercules and I are doing well :) enjoying all of the activities around us as well as the quiet family time on the back deck. Its starting to warm up which means, Hercules will be lounging in his swimming pool while kids play and laugh in the back yard:) I am wrapping up my 3rd MBA class, it sure is nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel get bigger:)
This month I rally paid attention to the words I used in this blog; I have always wondered why people choose certain words in their conversation and writing. Words ,obviously, have a explicit meaning behind them and I assume they are chosen by people to convey how they honestly feel. If you ready this post or many of the others you will see I use LOVE over and over. I had to take a moment and discern why I use it so much; my conclusion, is because :) Because, is such a diverse word that has specific meaning when i use it, so here is the code to my "LOVES".
To Madeline and Evan I love you with all of my heart and when I say I love you I mean; I will protect you, take care of you, hold you when your cry, make you laugh when your sad, share my life experience with you, teach you right from wrong, teach you how a man should treat a women (by showing you how I treat Mommy), help you out through your life journey, be there to pick you up when you fall, teach you how to be strong (both mentally and physically), teach you the value of hard work, teach you to treat others how you want to be treated, and be there for you for anything, anytime anywhere.
Life is unpredictable, today is a good day to tell your friends and family the code to your "Loves" so is tomorrow and the next day and the next day, in fact every day is :)
